К стати о монете. Не думал, что так интересно.

On one side are the arms of Danzig (now Gdansk in Poland), two crowned silver crosses on a red field. It dates from 1402. It is possible that this was originally a patriarchal cross, as the two crosses were connected on the earliest depictions of these arms.
The other side shows the Krantor (Żuraw in Polish). This is a building from 1444 with a double function: it was part of the defences of the city, closing the river for waterborne attacks, but it was also a de-masting crane. Ships laid up in port for the winter would temporarily give up their masts for tighter storage in port and to prevent frost damage. The lifting equipment could hoist up to 4000 kilograms up to 27 meters high. The building received extensive war damage in 1945. It has been restored and is now part of the shipping museum.
